Greetings, Chipman Elementary School Students and Families,
On behalf of the staff at CES, I welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. I am thrilled to write this letter of welcome to you as the new Principal of CES. It is a great honour to have been awarded this role and I look forward to joining the CES team.
I have been in the field of education for 18 years and spent 13 of those years as an administrator. I have worked, in a variety of school configurations and have taught at all levels in one capacity or another. Most recently, I have served as Vice-Principal of Minto Memorial High School. I am pleased to bring my skills as an educational leader to Chipman and to work with the school community to ensure the success of all students.
My philosophy on education is that it must center around students and that all decisions need to be made through that lens. I feel education is a life-long process and I look forward to instilling that in staff and students.
I hope to meet you and your child at our Open House event, and I look forward to working with you all throughout the school year.
